Have dinner at the light painted Dark Gate!

Anyone who has every visited Esztergom may have passed through the 90-meter-long tunnel named Dark Gates, which connects the St. Adalbert Center and the building of the Vitéz János Faculty of Pázmány Péter Catholic University. But some nights, the passage under the artificial slope of Várhegy, built just in front of the Basilica, invites visitors for a special experience.

One of the most well-known restaurants in Esztergom, Prímás Pince (Primate Cellar) organizes its extraordinary dinner-party in this tunnel. These evenings, the tables are laid in the arched passage, the waiters offer a series of tasting menus and rich wines, and the unique mood is enhanced with color-motifs on the walls to serve guests a truly unforgettable evening.
